Octagonal glass jug
Intact vase made of pale-green glass. The base is flat and unformed. The body is octagonal and is decorated with oblique ribs. The almost cylindrical neck slightly tapers to the ring-shaped rim which is horizontal and is folded so as to create a collar that facilitated the unblocked flow of its content. Α vertical strap handle starting from the shoulder of the vessel ends at the rim forming a right angle. The vessel is blown using two successive moulds. In the first place, in a small mould with vertical grooves and later, after it was blown and rotated to make the oblique ribs and in the second place in an octagonal mould for the final shaping of the body. The neck and the rim were made freely, while the handle was attached at the end.
