Saint Demetrios by Polycletos Rengos
Saint Demetrios is depicted riding a horse and prevailing over his adversary who is lying on the ground. In the scene’s lower part the brown tones are dominant, while the upper part is covered by golden background. The inscription in the lower left part writes: By hand of Polycletos N. Rengos, 1935.
