The Museum of Byzantine Culture and the Association of Serious and Ecclesiastical Music invite you to a two-day memory concert, dedicated to Smyrna and Constantinople on Friday 28 and Saturday 29 June.

• In the concert of traditional music, entitled “Memories of Smyrna”, on Friday, June 28, at 20:00, in the atrium of the Museum of Byzantine Culture, the following will participate:

-The choir of the Department of Traditional Music
-The orchestra:

Christina Konstantinidou: Violin
Neochoritou’s Life: Qanun
Athanasios Tsitsaris: Cello
Petros Heilas: Percussion instrument

• In the concert of serious music, entitled “Memories of Constantinople”, on Saturday, June 29, at 20:00, in the “Stephanos Dragoumis” amphitheatre of the Museum of Byzantine Culture (Administration building), the following will participate:
-The choir of the Department of Serious Music
-The orchestra:
Grigoris Vletsis: Ney
Athanasios Mavridis: Oud
Charalambos Neochoritis: Tanbur
Fotios Neochoritis: Lute
Neochoritou’s Life: Qanun
Athanasios Tsitsaris: Cello
