On the one side (early 14th c.) there is a portrayal of the Virgin Mary in a bust in the type of Glykofilousa (Sweet-loving). Virgin is holding Christ who is  standing with both her arms, leaning her cheek on his. On the other side (18th c.) the Crucifixion of Christ is depicted. The figure of the crucified Christ dominates the center, flanked by the Virgin on the left and St. John the Theologian on the right. The wall of Jerusalem is set in the background.
